Hydrostatic Testing:
BKO Technical specializes in high pressure hydrostatic test systems and tooling. BKO has pump systems to 60,000 psi and test tooling to 30,000 psi. The tooling can be used to quick connect to plain end tubing or pressure ports of the test specimen.

Utilizing high pressure water systems, tubes can be pressurized past their yield point to controllably expand them creating a strong mechanical bond. This process is prevalent in the heat exchanger coil manufacturing industry. Hydro Ball Expansion:
Hydro ball expansion is a method of expanding tube by placing a ball into a tube with water forcing the ball through the tube. The amount of expansion is a function of ball diameter and tube wall thickness. This method works well on straight length tubes with one operator performing the expansion.

Tooling:
BKO Technical manufactures a complete line of tooling to quick connect to plain end tubing. This unique tooling serves well for quick tube end connections for hydroexpansion, hydro-ball expansion as well as for tube testing. The tooling is of a modular design that allows for the standard tooling that has tube OD gripping and sealing to be converted for ID sealing by simply adding a nose insert.
